Matt Cantrell

Matt Cantrell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matt started their career as a Stone Mason and Contractor at Century Stone Inc. from June 1990 to August 2002. Matt then worked as a Bartender/Server at Swizz Restaurant from August 2009 to October 2011.

Matt also gained experience in the marketing field, working as a Marketing Coordinator and Brand Ambassador at popchips from January 2011 to September 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Production Coordinator at TAG Creative from March 2014 to September 2014, where they handled logistics for video shoots and assisted with various on-set tasks.

Matt transitioned into the fitness industry, working as a Personal Trainer at Equinox for a brief period in 2014. Matt then moved on to become a Production Manager at Konduit NYC, where they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the fabrication shop from October 2013 to November 2020.

Currently, Matt is working as the Design and CNC Manager at The Escape Game, a role they started in November 2020. In this position, they manage designers and CNC operators, leading the fabrication of escape room components using mixed materials.

Throughout their various roles, Matt has demonstrated their versatility and hands-on approach in management, fabrication, design, and installations. Matt is now seeking opportunities to expand beyond the New York area.

Matt Cantrell attended the NY Conservatory for Dramatic Art/School for Film and Television from 2008 to 2010, majoring in Acting for Film and Television. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2006, they studied at East Tennessee State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Digital Media.
