Director Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at The EVERY Company

Kritika Mahadevan has a wealth of experience in the food and beverage industry. Kritika began their career as a Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University in 2009 and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in the same year. In 2010, they moved to Manchester Metropolitan University and served as a Senior Lecturer, providing teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Food Quality, Product Development, Nutrition, Research and Enterprise. Kritika also actively contributed to the successful validation of the BSc Nutritional Sciences and Masters Programmes. In 2017, they joined EVERY™ as Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, where they established and monitored quality specifications, drove product formulation and applications development, and developed regulatory strategies for submissions to regulatory agencies. Kritika was then promoted to Associate Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs and Associate Director of Products, where they led the Product Team, coordinated and managed Regulatory Science activities, and actively engaged with cross-functional teams, clients and external vendors. In their role as Senior Manager, they project managed and led Clara Proteins to achieve Self GRAS status, led the construction of Product Application Space, and created Specification documents for Clara Proteins. As Senior Food Scientist, they established Sensory Evaluation Capability at Clara Foods, identified value proposition for Clara Foods Products, and created Product Specification.

Kritika Mahadevan completed their Bachelor of Science in Food Science & Nutrition and Biochemistry from Avinashilingam Institute of Home Science and Higher Education for Women in Coimbatore, India. Kritika then went on to pursue a PhD in Flavour Chemistry and Food Science from Queen's University Belfast in the United Kingdom. Lastly, they obtained their MSc in Food Science from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.
