Michelle Valberg C.m.

Michelle Valberg C.M. is a distinguished wildlife and nature photographer, recognized for their extensive contributions to photography, environmental stewardship, and philanthropy. Currently serving as a Nikon Ambassador Canada and appointed as the first Canadian Geographic Photographer-in-Residence, Michelle raises awareness of Canada's North's beauty and fragility. As a Fellow of both The Explorers Club and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, Michelle embodies a lifelong commitment to documenting and preserving the planet's natural wonders. Additionally, Michelle founded Project North, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in Canada’s North. With over three decades of experience, Michelle Valberg is also the President and Owner of Valberg Imaging, celebrating diverse landscapes and wildlife through captivating imagery. In recognition of these achievements, Michelle was named a Member of the Order of Canada in June 2022.
