Hyuntae Choi

Hyuntae Choi is currently a Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, focusing on macrofinance studies within the Financial Stability Division. Previously, Hyuntae served as a Course Assistant for Economics 1011b at Harvard University and held research assistant positions under Professors Stefanie Stantcheva and Angela Ma. As Co-Captain of the Harvard Fed Challenge Team, Hyuntae led the team to win National 1st Place in the 2023 College Federal Reserve Challenge. Additional experience includes a Summer Analyst position with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and a Research Intern role at Harvard's Center for International Development, where research was conducted on rural enterprise factors in Indonesia. Hyuntae Choi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University and received a High School Diploma with Highest Credit from Middlesex School.
