Fatimah Waqas

Fatimah Waqas is currently employed as an Ethnic & Community Media Intern at the NYC Office of the Mayor since October 2024. At Fordham University, Fatimah holds multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of the Walsh (Fordham Resident Halls Association), Secretary of the Fordham University South Asian Entity, University & Outreach Ambassador for the Fordham Rose Hill Society, and Logistics Analyst for the Fordham Muslim Students Association. In addition, Fatimah serves as a Student Engagement Strategist at the Fordham Career Center and as a Senior Editor and Staff Writer for the Fordham Undergraduate Law Review. Prior experience includes a Research Intern position at the Skaneateles Historical Society, a Summer Camp Teacher role at Arch Amenities Group, and participation on the Student Advisory Council for the Skaneateles Education Foundation. Fatimah is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies with a minor in Islamic Studies at Fordham University, expected to graduate in May 2026, following a high school education at Skaneateles High School from September 2019 to June 2022.
