Effie Orfanides

Effie Orfanides is the CEO and Founder of beacheo LLC, a mobile app that provides comprehensive information about saltwater beaches in the USA, including lifeguard presence, food options, and water temperature, since April 2021. In addition to leading beacheo, Effie serves as the CEO and Founder of EO Digital, and has contributed to ZergNet, Heavy, YourTango, and PEOPLE Magazine among other platforms. Previous experience includes a role as Director of Operations, Contributor, and Writer Development at The Inquisitr News, and freelance writing for CBS Local Digital Media and Creative Loafing Tampa. Effie holds a Bachelor's degree in English and Philosophy from UMass Boston, completed in April 2006.
