Heather Hutchison

Heather Hutchison has a diverse work experience in the field of arts and education. Heather is currently working as the Education Programming Director at The Forge: Lemont Quarries since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Artistic Director at Little Mountain Community Theatre since May 2014. From June 2008 to December 2021, Heather held multiple roles at the School of Performing Arts, including Director of Programming @ Artful Impact and Theatre Teacher. Heather also worked as the Head of Music K-12 at Elgin Academy from September 1993 to June 1995. Moreover, they have had teaching positions at TASIS-Switzerland as a Music Teacher/TELP teacher for a short period in 1994 and at TASIS The American School in England as the Head of Theatre from September 1990 to June 1993. Lastly, Heather served as the Head of Theatre Department and taught 4th & 5th Grade History, English, and General Music at Saint Margaret's McTernan Country Day School from September 1987 to June 1990.

Heather Hutchison attended Albertus Magnus College from 1983 to 1987, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature & Theatre. Heather'sfield of study focused on Musical Theatre & English Literature.
