Matt Pozos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategy across various sectors. Currently serving as Principal at The Formation Lab since January 2024, Pozos focuses on integrating equity into significant public infrastructure initiatives. As the Founder of Nine Strategies Initiative since 2013, Pozos emphasizes the importance of inspiring mission, crafting strategy, and driving results among senior leaders. Prior roles include Chief Operating Officer at Scout Exchange, where Pozos drove growth in a struggling marketplace, and Vice President of the West Region at Vitamin T, connecting creative professionals to growing companies. At Volt Workforce Solutions, Pozos excelled as Senior Director, leading a $130M semiconductor and IT services portfolio. Earlier, roles included Director of Consulting at InsideTrack, Principal Consultant at KIME Consulting, Strategy Manager at Wells Fargo, Manager at Accenture, and General Manager at Stanford Eating Clubs. Pozos holds a BA in Psychology and an MBA from Stanford University.

The Formation Lab integrates social equity into the planning, design and management of public infrastructure. We are dedicated to a more equitable future – delivering support programs for disadvantaged businesses, working with organizations to become more inclusive, and integrating equity considerations into infrastructure planning. At The Formation Lab we donate 10% of labor hours to community organizations, provide office space and advocacy for minority-owned businesses, and commit to carbon neutral business operations. The Formation Lab is WBE, DBE, and ESB certified in the State of Oregon.
