Janina Muench is a Project Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute since September 2021 and a PhD student in Chemistry Research at King's College London since October 2016, focusing on human protein quality control mechanisms and C. difficile pathogenesis. Janina has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at King's College London, demonstrating labs, conducting organic chemistry workshops, and supervising students. Previously, Janina worked as a Student Apprentice at Entelechon GmbH, where responsibilities included cloning, mutagenesis, protein expression, and DNA sequencing. Janina holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Structural Biology from King's College London and has earned both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Regensburg.
