Andrea Foster has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as an Administrative Assistant at Trinity University. In 2014, they joined City Year as an Americorps Member, where they later became a Senior Americorps Member and Project Coordinator. In this role, they successfully managed large-scale physical service events, engaged volunteers, and coordinated logistics for events of up to 1,200 individuals. Andrea then transitioned to The Franklin Institute in 2016, starting as a Project Assistant and progressing to Program Coordinator, Program Manager, Senior Manager of Programs, and currently serves as the Assistant Director of National and Network Education Programs.

Andrea Foster obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from Trinity University from 2010 to 2014. In addition, they attended the School for International Training in 2012, focusing on the field of study "Los Personas Indígenas y la Globalización."
