Marta Bylica has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human rights and international law. Marta started their career as a Research Assistant at McGill University in 2014 and later worked as a Legal Extern at the Public International Law & Policy Group in 2017. Marta also gained practical experience as a Student Attorney at The George Washington University Law School's Prisoner & Reentry Clinic.
In 2017, Marta joined the United Nations as a Legal Assistant, where they provided legal research and drafting support to Professor Sean D. Murphy, the United States' member of the International Law Commission and Special Rapporteur for Crimes against Humanity.
