Mark Helmus

Mark Helmus is a Data Scientist and Data Engineer currently working at Essent since April 2024 and also serves as a Partner at The Future Partners since March 2024. Previously, Mark held the position of Machine Learning Engineer at Machine2Learn from April 2021 to March 2024, where responsibilities included developing and integrating AI systems. Mark's earlier experience includes working as a Data Driven Online Marketeer at Belsimpel.nl from June 2017 to October 2018, focusing on online advertising performance, and as a Pricing Analyst at Belsimpel from August 2014 to September 2015. Mark completed a Master's degree in Econometrics and another in Computing Science: Data Science and Systems Complexity at the University of Groningen, where studies took place from 2017 to 2020, along with a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research from 2013 to 2017. Mark's foundational education was received at Piter Jelles Stedelijk Gymnasium Leeuwarden from 2006 to 2013.
