Henry Lucero

Henry Lucero is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in national security and immigration enforcement. Currently serving as Vice President at The GEO Group, Inc., Lucero previously held several senior executive positions at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2008 to 2022, including Deputy Assistant Director for Homeland Security Investigations and Field Office Director. Responsibilities encompassed overseeing significant operational teams, managing multi-billion dollar budgets, and implementing national policies and strategies. Lucero also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Phoenix, imparting knowledge in leadership and strategic communications. Academically, Lucero holds dual Master's degrees in Management from The Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from National University, and an Associate degree in General Studies from Southwestern Community College District.
