John Meagher

John Meagher currently serves as the Virtual Reception & Placement National Resource and Referral Manager and Manager for Strategic Partnerships at Global Refuge since October 2021. Prior to this role, John held various positions at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants from October 2013 to October 2021, including Program Officer for the Reception and Placement Program and Program Assistant. John's career also includes experience as a Research Associate focusing on health care issues for refugees and roles at The Center for International Stabilization and Recovery, Eastern Mennonite University, and James Madison University as an adjunct professor. Additionally, John worked as a Program Manager for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and as an Allocations Processor at the Refugee Processing Center. John's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration in International Non-Profit Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies from James Madison University.
