Margaret supports the Policy team by researching policy opportunities and using persuasive writing to engage decision-makers, partner organizations, and the public to advance alternative proteins.
Prior to joining GFI, Margaret worked as a Research Associate at the Environmental Law Institute (ELI), a nonpartisan environmental law and policy think tank. At ELI, she supported various programs through research and writing, including projects to advance plant-based proteins. Margaret grew up in upstate New York and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) and Psychology, with a minor in Environmental Studies.
