Renee Bell is a Senior Science Content Specialist at The Good Food Institute. Renee has been with the company since July 2018 and was previously the Science & Technology Editor and Assistant. Prior to that, they were a Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach at Pinnacle Vitality from December 2015 to June 2018.
Before working in the nutrition and wellness industry, Renee spent 10 years working as a Diabetes Specialty Sales Representative and Senior Sales Representative at Sanofi. Renee also worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Forest Pharmaceuticals for three years.
Renee began their career in sales as a Sales Manager and Sales Representative at Laboratory Products Sales from January 2001 to March 2003. Renee then transitioned into teaching, spending a year as a Science Teacher at Gates Chili Central School district from September 1999 to June 2000. Renee taught one more year of Science at J. Sterling Morton East High School before becoming a Laboratory Technician at the University of Rochester from May 1995 to October 1996.
Renee Bell completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester, where they earned a B.S. in Biology; Ecology and Evolution. Renee then went on to earn their M.Ed in Teaching and Learning from DePaul University. Finally, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus in Managing for Environmental Sustainability from Rochester Institute of Technology.
