Amanda Griffith has a diverse work experience in various roles within the YMCA organization. Amanda started as a Ballet Instructor at a local YMCA in 2007, working with preschool and elementary-aged children. In 2009, they became a Student Director at the Hampden Family Center, where they collaborated with Goucher College on an after-school program, providing homework assistance and supplemental instruction to elementary and middle school students. In 2012, they interned at the Department of Social Welfare in Ghana and also worked as a Counselor at South Mountain YMCA Camps. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Youth and Family Director at South Mountain YMCA Camps, overseeing day camp operations during the summer and facilitating programming for families throughout the year. Since 2017, they have been the Senior Camp and Family Director at The Y in Central Maryland. Most recently, starting in February 2023, they have taken on the role of Director of Operations at The Granite YMCA.

Amanda Griffith obtained their Bachelor's degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Goucher College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
