Pritish Parida

Pritish Parida is an accomplished professional in the fields of sustainable computing and thermal management, currently serving as the Communications Chair for the IEEE ITherm 2025 Conference. With over a decade of experience at IBM Research, Pritish has held various key roles, including Collaboration Manager for the IBM-Columbia University Sustainable Computing Program and Technical Lead in projects related to chronic pain management and two-phase cooling systems. Pritish's contributions to data center thermal management have yielded significant advancements, including a demonstrated cooling PUE of 1.03. Additionally, Pritish chairs the ITE-Energy Efficiency Metric Workgroup under The Green Grid and has a strong academic background, holding a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and Louisiana State University, respectively.
