Adam Waks

Adam Waks currently serves as Assistant General Counsel at The Greenbrier Companies, a position held since July 2022, after previously working as Senior Corporate Counsel. Waks has extensive experience in corporate law, having counseled public and private companies on various legal matters during tenure at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP as an Associate. Skills include advising startups on incorporation and corporate governance, as well as substantial work on securities, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property. Earlier career roles include summer associate and law clerk positions, where Waks developed fundamental legal skills through research and client interaction. Adam Waks holds a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA from The George Washington University.
