Andrea Neri

Administrative Director, Treatment Foster Care at The Groden Network "Your Autism Experts"

Andrea Neri has extensive work experience in the field of autism treatment and foster care. Andrea has been with The Groden Network "Your Autism Experts" since 1983, where they initially worked as a Treatment Teacher, providing individualized educational support to clients with special needs. Andrea then transitioned into the role of Administrative Assistant to founder Dr. Gerald Groden, where they assisted with research projects and data entry. In 2002, Andrea became a Program Coordinator for treatment foster care at Groden Networks, where they were responsible for recruiting and licensing foster parents, matching children with families, and coordinating meetings and events. In 2018, they joined The Groden Center as the Administrative Director and Operations Manager for their treatment foster care program, overseeing day-to-day operations, budgets, contracts, and services. Andrea's expertise in autism treatment and foster care has allowed their to make significant contributions in these areas throughout their career.

Andrea Neri attended North Providence High School from 1974 to 1979, where they pursued a College Prep curriculum. After completing high school, they enrolled at Rhode Island College from 1979 to 1983. Andrea obtained their Bachelor of Social Work degree, studying Social Work as their field of study.

The Groden Network…”Your Autism Experts” is the leading non-profit organization in Rhode Island providing direct services, treatment, research, educational and residential programs for children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities. Our Network of programs provides quality service to over 800 families with a professional workforce of over 600 employees. The Groden Network family of programs includes: The Groden Center, Inc. is a school and residential treatment center in Rhode Island enhancing the lives of children and youth with autism, behavioral disorders, and developmental disabilities by providing early autism intervention services, an early childhood education program at the Livingston Center, as well as providing functional and social development instruction to school-age children with learning disabilities. The Cove Center, Inc. provides instructional vocational and residential programs for adults over 21 in Rhode Island with developmental disabilities, autism, mental retardation, behavioral disorders, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, and mental health disorders. The Halycon Center, Inc. provides instructional vocational and residential programs for adults over 21 in Massachusetts with developmental disabilities, autism, mental retardation, behavioral disorders, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, and mental health disorders.
