David Wells has a wealth of experience in supply chain and customer supply chain management. David started their career in 1996 as a Customer Service Team Leader at Unilever, where they worked until 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they served as a Customer Supply Chain Manager at Unilever, specifically focusing on the Wal-Mart account. David then transitioned to the role of Distribution Manager from 2004 to 2007. Following this, from 2007 to 2008, they were the Go to Market Demand Planning Manager, responsible for the Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP) for Unilever's US Laundry category.
In 2008, David joined Henkel, where they held various positions over a period of ten years. David first served as Director Supply Chain Planning, responsible for demand planning, supply planning, finished goods inventory strategy, and S&OP for Sun Product's Global. David also acted as the Capability Owner for SAP implementation of the Demand to Build module and consulted for the Order to Cash Team. From 2012 to 2018, they served as the Director Customer Supply Chain-Walmart and Club Team at Henkel.
Most recently, David joined The Hain Celestial Group in 2018, assuming the role of Director Supply Chain. In 2022, they were promoted to the position of Sr. Director Customer Supply Chain and IBP, where they currently serve.
David Wells attended the University of Phoenix where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Prior to that, they attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from James Caldwell High School.
