Harriet Rix

Harriet Rix has extensive experience in science, research, and humanitarian projects, currently serving as the Science and Research Projects Manager at The Tree Council since January 2019. Additionally, Rix holds roles as a Liaison Officer and Consultant CWD Project Support Officer at Janus Global Operations LLC, and as an International Protection Consultant for Syria at DCA, where focus is on enhancing protection activities amid armed conflict. Involved with The HALO Trust as a Programme Support Officer and as a Research Analyst at Kaiser Associates, Rix has also previously contributed as the Chief Scientific Officer at SOWVITAL, where innovative technologies for carbon-neutral fertilizers were developed. Rix's academic background includes a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from the University of Cambridge, and multiple degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
