Rachel Lowthian

Rachel Lowthian is a Global Grants Manager at The HALO Trust since March 2023, responsible for managing a portfolio of global grants and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards. Prior to this role, Rachel served at the University of Cumbria for over 16 years, taking on various leadership positions including Interim Head of Knowledge Exchange and Knowledge Exchange Manager, where responsibilities involved establishing funding and contracts management services and supporting income generation strategies. Additionally, Rachel's background includes experience in project coordination and management with organizations such as ADDACTION and overseas travel for work. Rachel is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration at the University of Cumbria, holding both an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science with a focus on Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London.
