Darrel Barbato

Darrel Barbato currently serves as the Vice President of Data & Analytics at The Hanover Insurance Group. With an extensive background in the insurance industry, Darrel has held various leadership positions at Homesite Insurance, including Vice President of Data Science, Tools, and Reporting, as well as Assistant Vice President of Predictive Analytics and Director of Predictive Analytics. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Research and Senior Research Consultant at The Hartford and Manager of Special Projects at Liberty Mutual. In academia, Darrel worked as a Teaching Fellow in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at Boston College. Darrel earned a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Boston College between 2002 and 2007.
