Peter Meyer

Peter Meyer is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Practice Leader for National Accounts at The Hartford since January 2014, Peter focuses on delivering risk management solutions through loss-sensitive coverage programs. Previously, as Captive Insurance Manager and Chief Insurance Officer for Firestone Building Products, Peter developed an insurance program for roofing contractor clients, overseeing premiums exceeding $30 million. Peter also held the position of Risk Manager at Rolls-Royce, managing a risk program for a $1.5 billion revenue operation, and served as an Account Executive at Baldwin & Lyons, Inc., consulting on loss control initiatives. Peter holds an MBA in Leadership from Butler University and a BS in Finance/Risk Management from Ball State University, along with several professional designations including Associate in Risk Management and Certified Insurance Counselor.
