Shekar Pannala has a diverse and extensive work experience. Shekar is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer, Property & Casualty at The Hartford since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Chubb where they held multiple roles, including Global Chief Information Officer from January 2022 to February 2023, Global CIO, Co-Leader Technology from July 2020 to December 2021, and Chief Technology Officer & Global Digital CIO from December 2017 to June 2020.

Before Chubb, Shekar Pannala served as the Chief Technology Officer at S&P Global Ratings (formerly Standard & Poor's) from June 2016 to December 2017. Shekar also worked at BNY Mellon as the Executive Vice President - CIO from May 2011 to March 2016. Shekar Pannala holds a B.tech degree in Electronics & Communications from Acharya Nagarjuna University, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Certificate in Software Technology from the National Center for Software Technology (NCST) between 1992 and 1994. In 2010, Shekar attended The Wharton School, where they completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP).
