William F. Bria II MD has held various roles in the field of medical informatics throughout their career. William F. started as the Board Chairman at AMDIS in 1982. Over the years, they served as the Chief Medical Information Officer at The HCI Group, University of Michigan, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and Baystate Health. William F. also worked as the Executive Vice President of Medical Informatics and Patient Safety at CHIME. Additionally, they held roles such as CMIO at Visual Dx and provided medical consultation at Dataskill. In addition, they were an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of South Florida.
Dr. William F. Bria II earned their BS in Biology from Georgetown University in 1973 before going on to complete their Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the same institution in 1977. William F. then pursued an Internship and Residency at Emory University from 1977 to 1980. Dr. Bria furthered their education with a Pulmonary Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Harvard University-Massachusetts General Hospital from 1980 to 1982.
