Adrian K.

Adrian K. has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Starting from 2016, Adrian founded and served as the Director-General of Malaysia World Health Assembly Simulation (MyWHA), a conference aimed at promoting the exchange of ideas among students. Adrian also held advisory roles within the organization.

In 2017, Adrian became involved with the Asian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) International, where they served as Vice Overall Chairperson (Internal) and later as the Overall Chairperson. As the Director of Information Technology for AMSA International, Adrian managed and oversaw the organization's IT department.

Adrian's work experience in healthcare includes roles at the University of Dundee as an Associate Staff member, where they actively contributed to clinical education and served as a portfolio supervisor and assessor for the medical school's undergraduate curriculum. Adrian also worked as a Foundation Doctor at NHS Scotland and represented foundation trainees as a Trainees Representative at NHS Education for Scotland.

Adrian's involvement in higher education includes being a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) at Advance HE. Adrian is also a Q Community Member at The Health Foundation.

Currently, Adrian is working at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialty Trainee. Additionally, Adrian is part of the OUH Improvers Hub Community.

Adrian K. has a diverse educational background. In 2009, they began their secondary education at Chung Ling (National Type) High School, where they focused on science subjects. After completing their secondary education in 2013, Adrian K. pursued a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at the International Medical University from 2015 to 2017.

In 2014, Adrian K. obtained Advanced Level Qualifications from Disted College Penang, specializing in Cambridge A-Levels. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Edinburgh in 2017 and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree, majoring in Medicine.

To further enhance their knowledge and expertise, Adrian K. is currently pursuing a Master of Reproductive Medicine (MRMed) degree at UNSW, with an anticipated completion date in 2023. Throughout their educational journey, Adrian K. has also obtained several certifications. These include completing Basic Life Support training at the International Medical University and obtaining Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification from the Resuscitation Council UK in 2019. In 2021, they furthered their skills by obtaining Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the same institution. Additionally, in 2023, Adrian K. completed the Learn to Lead program offered by AGSM @ UNSW Business School, enhancing their leadership skills.
