Jeanette Foley has a diverse work experience in the healthcare sector. Jeanette began their career as a Registered Nurse at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, where they worked in the Cardiothoracic Unit on the CCU and thoracic surgical ward. During this time, they completed a specialist cardiothoracic course.

Jeanette then worked as a Senior Staff Nurse at Barts Health NHS Trust in the Intensive Care Unit of the Royal London Hospital for three years before moving on to University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where they served as a Sister in the Critical Care Unit.

In 2007, Jeanette joined NHS Blood and Transplant as a Specialist Nurse Organ Donation and later became the Team Manager for the London Organ Donation Services Team. Jeanette then transitioned to the role of Clinical Governance Manager before being promoted to the position of Head of Clinical Governance. Currently, they serve as the Deputy Chief Nurse at NHS Blood and Transplant.

Jeanette has also been involved with The Health Foundation as a Q Community Member starting from 2018. Additionally, they have worked as a Senior Nurse in the Family Support and Liaison Team at Nightingale Hospital and Barts Health NHS Trust, where they played a crucial role in developing the team and ensuring personalized care for patients.

Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong dedication to patient care and clinical excellence.
