Tom Rollinson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tom started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Katie Bard in 2013 before moving on to work as a Healthcare Assistant at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust in 2014. Tom also worked as a Project Assistant for the NIHR Trauma Management Healthcare Technology Cooperative (HTC) during this time.
In 2015, Tom joined NIHR CLAHRC NWL where they held multiple positions, including Delivery Theme Project Officer, Project Manager, and Breathlessness Theme Improvement Science Manager (Maternity Cover).
In 2016, they worked as a Visiting Researcher at Imperial College London's School of Primary Care and Public Health.
Tom then joined the NIHR Trauma Management Healthcare Technology Cooperative (HTC) as a Programme Manager in 2017 before transitioning to the role of Transformation Facilitator at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust in 2018. Tom concurrently became a Q community member at The Health Foundation.
In 2020, Tom took on the position of Reducing Avoidable Conveyance Lead at East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
Recently, in 2021, they joined KPMG as a Manager. Starting from 2023, Tom will also be working as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Nottingham.
Tom Rollinson has a comprehensive education history spanning multiple institutions and disciplines. Tom'seducation journey began in 2008 at King Edward's VI College, where they obtained their A-Levels in Human Biology, Salter's Chemistry, Physical Education, and Psychology. Tom then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science at the University of Birmingham from 2010 until 2013. Tom later engaged in professional development by completing a program in Agile PM foundation and practitioner at Pearce Mayfield. In 2017, they furthered their education at the University of Nottingham, where they completed a degree in Quality and Patient Safety Improvement. Additionally, they attended a short course on Essential Human Factors for Medical Devices in the same year.
