Karim Al-Azizi, MD, FACC, FSCAI, FESC has a diverse work experience in the field of cardiology. Karim currently serves as an Interventional Cardiologist and Structural Heart Disease Specialist at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano since July 2019. Karim is also the Medical Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and the Associate Program Director of Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at the same institution.

Dr. Al-Azizi previously worked as a Structural Heart Disease Fellow at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano from July 2018 to June 2019.

Karim is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University School of Medicine since September 2019.

Prior to that, they completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Baystate Health from July 2017 to June 2018.

Karim also worked as a Cardiology Fellow at Geisinger from July 2014 to June 2017.

Before specializing in cardiology, they served as the Chief Medical Resident at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System from July 2013 to June 2014.

Karim began their medical career as an Internal Medicine Resident at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland from July 2011 to June 2014.

Karim Al-Azizi, MD, FACC, FSCAI, FESC pursued their education in medicine at Ain Shams University from 2003 to 2010. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) in the field of medicine.
