CEO at The Helper Bees

Char Hu is the CEO of The Helper Bees, a previous company of Family Eldercare, The State of Texas, Texas Beer Company, Texas Alzheimers, Hops and Grain LLC, Georgetown Living, and Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Hu's research is concerned with understanding the process of protein folding, one of the biggest mysteries in biochemistry/biophysics. Protein folding is the process by which a protein (a fundamental unit for virtually all biological processes, and the target of virtually all drugs) adopts its structure. Potential applications of my research include the next generation of intelligent drug design.

Char Hu received a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from Baylor College of Medicine. They also have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
