Lars Swenson

Lars has worked at Heritage for almost eight years, starting out as a Campus Aide, helping out wherever he could, then working with academic staff, becoming a Home Lead and then a Home Director before taking the position of Residential Manager of the Peers Academy in May 2017. “The staff sacrifice and really care about helping the students, they are genuine about giving their time and energy.” In connecting with students, he works to build trusting relationships founded on common interests. He says, “Once you connect you are able to help them learn and grow because they can see that I genuinely care.” He was born in Utah and raised in northern California. He attended Utah Valley University and loves to travel with his wife, especially cruises to tropical islands, enjoying the beautiful sights and the snorkeling. He also loves playing with his child and enjoys collecting records.
