Wesley Coopersmith

Chief of Staff to the President at The Heritage Foundation

Wesley Coopersmith is currently the Chief of Staff to the President at The Heritage Foundation. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Federal Affairs for the Texas Public Policy Foundation from March 2021 to December 2021. In this role, they advocated for TPPF's public policy positions on Capitol Hill with members of Congress and their staff, administration/agency staff, and other state and federal public policy organizations. Wesley specialized in policy issues including health care, higher education, and criminal justice reform. Prior to that, they interned with Americans for Prosperity from November 2013 to February 2014.
