Amiel De Guzman

Amiel De Guzman is currently the VP & Executive Lead at The Herjavec Group, Inc. Amiel has over 16 years of experience in information security.

De Guzman started their career in 2002 as an information security manager at AAA National. Amiel then spent six years at IBM Security as a senior managing security consultant. In 2009, they became the compliance, risk and information security officer at Fiserv. Three years later, they were promoted to managing principal at Verizon Business.

In 2014, De Guzman became the vice president, head of information security, at D+H. Amiel left the company in 2016 to work as a principal consultant at Forescout Technologies Inc. Amiel then became a security consultant at Independent Consultant in 2018.

De Guzman holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
