Blake Kobel

Blake Kobel has a diverse work experience across multiple industries and roles. Blake started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Cerner Corporation during their senior year of high school, where they gained experience in software design using Ruby, HTML, and CSS. Blake then worked as a Help Desk Assistant at Missouri State University Computer Services while pursuing their degree.

After graduating, Blake co-founded On Tap Bets, an app-based company, where they served as a Co-Founder. Following this, they joined Fishtech Group as a Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of an Analytics Engineer. At Fishtech Group, they contributed to analytics processes and developed software.

Blake also worked at ConocoPhillips as an Analytics Analyst, where they created various automation processes and improved cloud analytics using their prior experience in analytics. Blake also served as a Cloud Operations Engineer and Projects Analytics Analyst at ConocoPhillips.

Additionally, Blake founded Crunch Time DFS, where they developed a DFS optimization process for Draftkings using Python programming. Blake also worked as a Founder and sent out regular projections via email.

Currently, Blake is employed at Cyderes as an Analytics Engineering Team Lead. In this role, they lead a team of five engineers, collaborates with other leads to develop new products, and scales the Data Warehouse across the company.

Blake Kobel attended Missouri State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Blake also obtained additional certifications including the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019, the Machine Learning certification from Coursera in 2019, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2020.
