Gene Kholodenko

Gene Kholodenko is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in leading technology initiatives within large organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at The Hershey Company since October 2024, Gene previously held the role of Chief Information Officer for Pharma Distribution, Sales & Marketing at McKesson from January 2022 to October 2024, where accountability included overseeing IT services for a significant revenue-generating sector and driving digital transformation. Prior to McKesson, Gene worked at Procter & Gamble for nearly a decade in various leadership roles, including Global IT Governance Leader, where notable achievements included a substantial reduction in enterprise incidents, and as CIO for both the Global Chemicals and Global Flavors & Fragrances businesses, focusing on strategy and vendor relationships. Gene's career began at Ashland Chemical as an engineer. Gene holds an MBA in General Management and Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
