Michelle Chen

Managing Director at The Hina Group

Michelle Chen started their career at Goldman Sachs in 2012, where they worked as part of the Goldman Sachs Investment Partners' Venture Capital and Growth Equity team until 2018. In 2019, they joined The Hina Group as a Managing Director, where they focused on private equity investments in various industries such as software and business services, semiconductors, and consumer and healthcare. Their responsibilities included managing a $500 million China technology growth funds and overseeing investments in companies such as BOSS Zhipin, VNET Inc, JD Logistics, Iluvatar, and United Family Healthcare, among others.

Michelle Chen attended The Harker School from 2005 to 2006. Michelle then transferred to Western Academy of Beijing and studied there from 2006 to 2008. After completing their time at Western Academy of Beijing, Michelle went on to study at Peking University from 2008 to 2012. At Peking University, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Computer Science.
