Lydia Lau has a diverse work experience in various financial and managerial roles. Lydia began their career at Melton & Melton, LLP as an Audit Supervisor from 1997 to 1999. Lydia then worked at Weber Shandwick as a Finance Manager in 1999. Lydia joined The Hoffman Agency in 2000, starting as a Finance Manager for the Asia Pacific region. Lydia was later promoted to Finance Director and then Vice President of Finance and Administration. From 2010 to 2020, Lydia served as the Vice President of Global Operations, and currently holds the position of CFO and Executive Vice President Global Operations. Alongside their professional career, Lydia has also been involved as a Mentor for the Rosaryhill School Secondary Section RHSOSA Mentorship Program since 2009.

Lydia Lau completed their education history with various degrees and certifications. In 1981, they attended Rosaryhill School, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Later, from 1991 to 1996, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, focusing on accounting. Lastly, in 2017, Lydia attended Harvard Business School for Executive Education in Driving Digital Strategies.
