Melanie Payne

Melanie Payne has extensive experience in operations and management, currently serving as Senior Director of Rental Field Operations at The Home Depot since March 2011, after holding various leadership positions within the company, including Senior Director of Operations, Regional Director of Operations, District Manager, Territory Operations Manager, and District Operations Manager. Prior to this, Melanie managed a Target store from September 2009 to February 2011 and held the position of Store Manager at The Home Depot from March 2005 to September 2009. Melanie also brings valuable experience from General Motors, where roles included Senior Labor Relations Manager and Communications Manager from May 1995 to March 2005, along with freelance writing for Advisor Newspapers between May 1994 and August 1995. Melanie holds a BA in Journalism from Michigan State University and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from The University of Texas at Arlington.
