Joseph Millwood

Joseph Millwood is currently a Mental Health Clinician at The Home for Little Wanderers since April 2023. Joseph has extensive experience in academia, having served as an Assistant Lecturer and Adjunct Lecturer at The University of the West Indies from October 2003 to July 2022, focusing on Caribbean Social Issues, Survey Design, and Advanced Community Practice. Additionally, Joseph held the position of Senior Human Resource Assistant II, specializing in Occupational Safety and Health, and worked briefly as a Human Resources Administrator/Safety Officer at Jamaica Pre-Mix Concrete Limited in 2021. From January 2013 to August 2017, Joseph was a Lecturer at Jamaica Theological Seminary, teaching courses in Social Policy, Social Planning, and Community Development. Joseph holds a Post Graduate Diploma in University Teaching and Learning, a Master’s Degree in Social Work, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The University of the West Indies, as well as a Certificate in Ergonomics and Human Factors from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
