Kai Chen

Kai Chen is a Professor and Associate Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since July 2012, specializing in Data Center Networking, Machine Learning Systems, and Privacy-preserving Computing. Prior to this, Kai Chen held positions as Assistant Professor and Intern Researcher at NEC Laboratories America, Inc., as well as intern roles at NEC Labs China and Microsoft Research Asia. Education includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Northwestern University and both M.S. and B.E. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
