Larry Bowman

President-elect at The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

Larry Bowman has a diverse work experience in various academic institutions and organizations. Larry is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Research, Data Science and Strategy at East Tennessee State University, where they also serve as the Data Services Manager. In addition, Larry is the President Elect of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Previously, Larry has worked as an AP Research Reader at The College Board and as an Assistant Director at the University of Georgia Marine Institute. Larry has also held the position of Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Program in Marine Biology at College of Charleston and as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Georgia.

Larry has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at The Citadel and as an Assistant Marine Scientist at the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. Larry has prior experience as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Yale University and as a Program Coordinator at the Yale Center for Teaching and Learning.

From 2014 to 2019, they attended Yale University and earned both a PhD and MS degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.

Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, they studied at Dartmouth College and obtained an AB degree. Larry'sfocus at Dartmouth was on Biological Sciences and English Literature.

Between 2012 and 2014, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biological Sciences at East Tennessee State University.

In 2009, they briefly attended Williams College, studying Maritime Studies, although no degree was specified.

Larry Bowman also obtained additional certifications. In December 2012, they became a Lifetime Member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. It is also mentioned that they are an American Mensa Member, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
