Aaron Wilson has a diverse professional background, including roles in clinical research, education, customer service, and volunteer work. Currently serving as a Volunteer for The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels since February 2022, Aaron previously worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at Butchertown Clinical Trials from March 2021 to January 2022. Aaron's experience also includes conducting research as an SRC Field Researcher at the University of Michigan, ensuring passenger safety as a Flight Attendant for Republic Airline, and facilitating senior well-being as a Utilization Management Associate at Humana. Additionally, Aaron held positions as a Billing Representative, President of the Cottages at Meadowview Council of Co-Owners, and Facilities Security Officer for the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet. Early career experience includes serving as a Science Teacher for Paris City and Scott County Schools. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Programming from Kentucky State University and has attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

The Kentucky Colonels is an organization of talented and capable men and women appointed by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky because of their service to the state. We act as the Governor’s ambassadors of Kentucky’s heritage and rich history of arts and entertainment. Our primary objective is to support needy Kentucky charities and worthy Kentucky organizations by raising money from our membership to help those organizations who stand ready to help our citizens share in Kentucky’s boundless future. We celebrate this mission and encourage and affirm one another in these efforts.
