Alex Ly

Alex Ly, P.Eng, PMP, is a Senior Manager of Business Operations in Energy and Sustainability at The Hospital for Sick Children, overseeing various operational departments and quality management responsibilities since November 2014. Previously, Alex served in multiple leadership roles at organizations such as VitalAire, where the total operations of engineering and installations were managed, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, where engineering and quality management responsibilities were held across different managerial positions. With a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Alex has demonstrated a strong track record in project management, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction throughout a diverse career in engineering and management.
