Sam Wood

Sam Wood serves as the Director of C-Suite and Consulting Services at The HT Group since 2019, where responsibilities include filling executive leadership gaps and providing consulting services for company strategy, technology assessments, and system implementations. Additionally, Sam leads a management consulting team focused on digital transformation initiatives and has contributed to over 260 IT consulting wins with notable clients such as the NFL and Dell. As a Board Member at Cyber Trust Alliance, Sam supports comprehensive compliance solutions for various organizations. Further involvement includes serving on the MIS Steering Committee at The University of Texas at Austin and acting as Principal at Waterloo Technology Consulting, which specializes in business transformations. Previous roles include Technology Practice Director at Bridgepoint Consulting, Executive Director of Information Services at Pinnergy, Global Project Manager at Zimmer Biomet, and Director of Information Technology at CompassLearning. Sam holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
