Tanja McGee

Tanja McGee, SHRM-CP has over 30 years of experience in human resources. Tanja started their career as an Administrative Assistant at General Physics Corporation in 1988. From 1993 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Performance Readiness Solutions, providing support to domestic and international employees. Tanja then joined Mercy Medical Center, Baltimore, MD in 2012 as a Senior Employee Relations Specialist before becoming the Manager of Employee Relations. In 2018, they transitioned to The Humane Society of the United States, where they held various roles, including Manager of Employee Relations & Talent Acquisition, Manager of Employee Relations, Director of Human Resources Business Partners, and eventually became the Senior Director of HR Business Partners in 2023.

Tanja McGee, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix (2008) and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in General Studies from Stevenson University. In 2021, they obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
