Kristina Daponte

Kristina DaPonte is a journalism major at Northeastern University, with a Bachelor of Arts expected in May 2025. Currently serving as the Lifestyle Editor at The Huntington News since May 2023, Kristina performs content editing, collaborates with writers, and publishes articles. Previous experience includes a Deputy Lifestyle Editor role and various positions in student organizations, marketing, and community engagement, such as a Community Co-op at Boston.com and a research role focused on local TV news innovation. Kristina also worked as a Resident Assistant in Northeastern University's Housing and Residential Life, contributing to community building and student engagement. Additionally, work experience as a grocery shopper and cashier at Stop & Shop, along with roles in the food service industry, showcases diverse skills in teamwork and customer service. Kristina's international experience includes a language and culture program at Universidade Nova de Lisboa in summer 2023.
