Matea Bidaburu, MPH, is currently serving as a Nutrition Education Specialist at The Idaho Foodbank since June 2023, where responsibilities include facilitating nutrition education services and conducting volunteer recruitment and training. Prior experience includes an MPH internship at Idaho Harm Reduction Project (January 2023 - May 2023) and roles in academic research at Boise State University, including Graduate Research Assistant (August 2022 - May 2023) and Student Research Technician (November 2021 - June 2022). Earlier research experience includes serving as a Student Research Assistant at Gonzaga University Labs (September 2020 - May 2021) and a Payroll Representative for the Bureau of Land Management (May 2019 - August 2019). Matea holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Prevention and Intervention Programming and a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Leadership from Boise State University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Gonzaga University.
