Alexandra Tirado Oropeza is currently the Editor in Chief at The Independent en Español. Prior to this role, Alexandra worked as the Head of Audience at The Independent en Español, Digital News Content Manager at Estrella Media, Inc., Writer at Accelerate Change Network, Freelance Writer at PopED World, and Contributing Writer at Young Hollywood. Alexandra also has experience as a News Editor at The Minaret, Resident Assistant and Career Services Ambassador at the University of Tampa, and as an Intern at Union Radio.
